What I've Learned

The main thing I have learned this semester is how to interview well. In the past I have struggled with having interviews. Recently, I was given an interview on the spot when I handed in an application. Using the techniques I learned in class, I received a second interview and was given the job. In the future I will continue to anticipate questions and prepare myself for difficult questions.  Overall, even though I’m changing my major, I’m very thankful I have had this class to help me with real life skills.

Persuasion

Do you ever find yourself bored at home after school? Well, your NCCC Student Programming Board (SPB) can change this for you. There are many events run by SPB open to all students. One coming up is a dinner and a movie with comedian, Adam Grabowski. He is hilarious and scheduled to be on this campus on October 24th at 7pm in the SEL.  The best part about attending events is to meet new people, which have the potential to become some of your best friends. Also, you have already paid for the event your tuition so if you’re short on cash right now, you can come get some food that won’t cost you any more money. So, the event is free and there are lots of potential friends just waiting for you to attend. So come on out to on October 24th!
